How affiliate links affect what gets published

Topics are chosen because they answer a real question about living in a home — how to store more in a small kitchen, how to make a room feel warmer, how to keep a hallway clear. An affiliate relationship is never the sole reason a subject is covered, and it does not buy a place on a page.

Commercial links may sit alongside editorial ideas, and where they do, the relationship is disclosed clearly and close to the link itself, not only on this page.
